About MeHello, my name is Natacha Duggins.
I am very excited for our third year at MCSA! This will be my fourth year teaching in North Carolina. I graduated with my teaching degree in 2012 from the University of Illinois at Springfield and moved to California where I taught fifth grade science. That opportunity gave me the chance to create lessons for hands-on, inquiry based experiences in the San Bernardino Mountains. I look forward to incorporating some of those lessons in our classroom. Max and I moved to Charlotte to be closer to my twin sister and her husband. It has quickly become one of our favorite cities with all the adventures nearby. In my off time you can find me climbing at Crowder’s Mountain, biking on trails around Charlotte, playing at the Whitewater Center, or floating down the South Fork River. Everyday is an exciting new adventure! |

I am very excited to continue to build our community with Mallard Creek STEM Academy staff, students, and families. This third year is all about overcoming challenges and soaring with our many successes.
